ROLE OVERVIEW
The Business Analyst will be responsible for bridgingthe gap between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating businessrequirements into actionable product specifications. This role requires stronganalytical capabilities, excellent documentation skills, and hands-onexperience in product testing. The ideal candidate will have a solid backgroundin requirements gathering, stakeholder management, and ensuring product qualitythrough comprehensive testing activities.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Product Support & Stakeholder Management
- Support Product Managers in defining and prioritizingproduct features and enhancements
- Participate actively in product roadmap planning andAgile sprint ceremonies (daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives)
- Serve as liaison between business stakeholders anddevelopment teams
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations tosupport product decisions
- Present findings, analysis, and recommendations tomanagement and stakeholders
- Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate projectupdates effectively
- Facilitate communication and resolve conflicts betweentechnical and business teams
Documentation & Quality Assurance
Develop user guides, training materials, and rolloutsupport documentationEnsure delivered solutions meet business requirementsand quality standardsReview and validate technical documentation prepared bydevelopment teamsMaintain comprehensive project documentation andknowledge baseDocument business rules, workflows, and systemconfigurationsSupport change management activities and user adoptioninitiativesRequirementsGathering & Analysis
Collaborate with Product Managers and businessstakeholders to elicit, analyze, and document business and functionalrequirementsTranslate business needs into clear user stories,functional specifications, and acceptance criteriaConduct gap analysis between current state and desiredproduct featuresCreate process flows, wireframes, and comprehensivedocumentation to support development teamsFacilitate workshops and requirement gathering sessionswith cross-functional teamsMaintain requirements traceability throughout theproduct development lifecycleAnalyze business processes and identify opportunitiesfor improvementProduct Testing
Design comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scenarios basedon documented requirementsCoordinate and facilitate product testing sessions with business usersand stakeholdersExecute functional testing to validate that requirements have beenimplemented correctlyDocument test results systematically and track defects throughresolutionWork closely with development teams to clarify defects and verify fixesPerform regression testing when necessary to ensure system stabilityProvide formal sign-off on completed features after successful testingand validationMaintain test documentation and ensure full traceability to originalrequirementsWHAT DOES IT TAKE TO BE SUCCESSFUL
Qualifications
Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, InformationTechnology, or related fieldWork Experience
