Position Description
The Sales Engineer will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales efforts by providing technical expertise, product knowledge, and exceptional customer service to both internal stakeholders and external clients. This position requires a strong blend of technical acumen, communication skills, and a customer-focused approach to drive sales and contribute to the overall success of the organization.
Core Responsibilities
- Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with company policies, procedures, standards, and work instructions.
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact for sales inquiries and customer requests, providing pre-sales support and technical solutions.
- Collaborate to understand customer requirements and recommend suitable products or solutions based on technical specifications.
- Preparing proposals, quotations, and bids for customers, ensuring accuracy and alignment with customer needs and specifications.
- Conduct contract reviews and ensuring orders are compliant to proposals and tenders prior to acceptance.
- Provide post-sales technical support and troubleshooting assistance, resolving customer inquiries and issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain strong relationships with customers, understanding their evolving needs and challenges to identify opportunities for additional sales.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to address customer requirements and enhance product offerings.
- Contribute to the development and execution of sales strategies and initiatives to achieve sales targets and key performance indicators.
- Manage and maintain sales-related documentation and records, including contracts, quotations, and purchase orders.
