Logistics Administrator / Assistant / Executive

Responsibilities

• Plan, implement, and monitor logistics operations to ensure efficient and effective delivery of goods.
• Manage transportation schedules, routes, and carriers to optimize delivery times and costs.
• Establish and maintain relationships with freight forwarders, shipping lines and customs brokers to optimize logistics operations, negotiate contracts and resolve related issues.
• Track and report on the status of shipment, monitoring for delays and managing disruptions.
• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency of logistics operations and implement improvements as needed.
• Monitor and control logistics expenses, identify cost-saving opportunities, and manage budgets effectively.
• Ensure all necessary documentation for shipping, customs, and compliance is completed accurately and promptly according to legal, regulatory and company standards.
• Promptly address and resolve any issues related to shipping delays, damages, or discrepancies.
• Prepare and review shipping documentation, including invoices, packing lists and export declarations.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align logistics operations with production schedules and customer requirements.
• Evaluate logistics performance and suggest improvements to enhance efficiency.
• Prepare and present regular reports on logistics performance, inventory levels, and transportation costs to senior management.
• Oversee inventory levels, manage stock replenishment, and coordinate with warehousing teams to ensure accuracy.
• Perform general office duties as required.
