Senior Consultant – APAC / EMEIA Indirect Tax Compliance at EY, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Join EY’s Global Compliance & Reporting team to work on large multi‑country client engagements and develop your career through coaching, mentoring and formal learning.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Act as central point of contact – liaise with international clients and colleagues regarding regional and global VAT compliance.
• Monitor and give feedback on the quality of clients’ indirect tax data (using AI and other technologies) and reports.
• Review and approve indirect tax returns.
• Follow up on legislative and business changes to ensure our client’s systems and processes are updated.
• Identify issues and opportunities to continuously improve VAT compliance processes and client data.
• Coordinate VAT compliance advisory, technology, controversy and audit support.
• Coordinate with colleagues and report to the client’s Process Owner at EY (Senior Manager or above).
• Supervise and coach junior team members.
• Actively participate in training and coaching sessions to ensure continuous development of your technical knowledge.
