Job Summary
Responsible for procurement, assist manager in cost monitoring and control.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in establishing project budget.
Pre-qualification of tenderers : source and identify suitable tenderers, evaluate and recommend tenderers to participate in tender as per tender programme.Cost analysis : review pretender estimates, analyze tenders submitted; elemental cost analysis for building and infrastructure works; carry out cost economic study of alternative specifications and design.Review tender and contract documents.Assist in coordination of procurement exercise, including calling of tenders, review tender report, attend tender interview, negotiate and finalize award.Review and rationalization of rates.Post Contract StageCarry out site valuation and process interim progress claim on monthly basis.
Review quotation or claim for variation works submitted by contractors.Review final account.Monitoring contractual status.Assisting in cost control by monitoring and evaluating RFVs.Assist in preparation of financial statement.OthersPrepare quotation document for minor works and new works.
Collate and compile cost data report.To comply and adhere to all matters pertaining to Quality, Safety & Health and Environment related to the job scope and workplace as required by the Company.Any other duties that will be assigned from time to time by the Management.Qualifications
Degree / Diploma / Certificate in Quantity Surveying or Building Technology.
Skills & Abilities
Costing, estimating, knowledge of pre and post contract activities.
Expected Minimum Years of Experience
5 years
