Overview
We are looking for a dedicated professional to join our CARSOME Certified Lab (CCL) team. You will play a key role in ensuring smooth operation of vehicle refurbishment by performing vehicle repair & maintenance, troubleshooting issues, and coordinating the production line workflow. You are responsible for supervising job distribution, monitoring progress, ensuring repair quality, and achieving production targets. With your technical expertise and leadership, you will ensure vehicles are restored to meet Carsome Certified Standards , achieving maximum reliability, functionality, and customer satisfaction.
Your Day-to-Day
- Inspect vehicle engines, mechanical / electrical components, and conduct diagnostic tests to accurately identify issues.
- Prepare reports and provide professional technical comments to ensure proper understanding of issues and repair needs.
- Conduct routine maintenance work (fluid replacement, lubricating parts, etc.) to ensure vehicle longevity and performance.
- Perform troubleshooting, rectification, and repair work including test drives to validate fixes.
- Repair or replace damaged or dysfunctional parts while ensuring maximum reliability.
- Provide accurate cost, time, and effort estimates for repair and maintenance jobs.
- Keep proper records and logs of work carried out and ensure tools & equipment are maintained in good condition.
- Distribute and coordinate job assignments among Consultants to ensure equal workload and smooth operations.
- Oversee inbound and outbound vehicle activities, ensuring vehicles received / discharged match DO listings.
- Supervise and control job progress to ensure tasks by Consultants and Contractors are completed within lead time.
- Follow up on WIP progression closely and monitor QC to ensure all vehicles meet Carsome Certified Standards.
- Ensure Consultants update reports promptly and accurately.
Your Know-How
At least MLVK Level 3 Certified in Automotive Engineering / Body Repair / Automotive Technology, or Certificate in Automotive Engineering related field.Valid driving license (compulsory).Minimum 1 years of working experience in automotive repair, maintenance, or as Job Controller.Solid understanding of car workshop workflow and automotive after-sales processes (Service & Body & Paint).Hands-on skills in vehicle troubleshooting, repair, maintenance, and diagnostic tools.Exposure in Body & Paint, After Sales, or Assembly Plant environment is an advantage.Strong ability to supervise, monitor, and coordinate jobs in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.Independent, committed, dynamic, with high integrity.CARSOME is Southeast Asia’s largest integrated car e-commerce platform.
