Support underwriting and claims operations for life and health insurance at RGA, a global reinsurance leader based in Kuala Lumpur.
Your Role
Here’s what you will be doing :
- Assist in efficient setup of new Individual and Group life coverage cases into RGA systems following processes and timelines
- Allocate referrals to Underwriters and claim adjudicators daily based on authority and availability
- Review and verify basic information on life / health insurance applications and supporting documents
- Conduct capacity checks for cases
- Prepare and handle monthly / quarterly underwriting reports, dashboards, project status updates, and PowerPoint presentations
- Coordinate with RGA teams and clients to reconcile cessions / statements, confirm placement details, and resolve discrepancies
- Update internal departmental records
- Manage internal and external queries and access requests for RGA’s Underwriting guidelines portal
- Assist in arranging logistics for meetings, workshops, seminars, and webinars
- Support ad hoc projects including system testing (UAT) and other tasks assigned by the team or manager
- Follow instructions and work within timelines
