Mechanical Engineer

Mechanical engineers are responsible for the implementation and monitoring of all mechanical-related operations at the site, following approved drawings, methods, and safety rules.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Major Responsibilities

• Research engineering, quality assurance, drawings, or factory information necessary to achieve the objectives of the mandate and write explanatory texts for manuals.
• Identify, order, and verify illustrations needed to understand the texts.
• Edit manuals to ensure technical accuracy and compliance with customer and service standards.
• Revise explanatory texts following modifications, engineering changes, or customer comments.
• Participate in developing standards and work instructions for writers and suppliers.
• Review and integrate technical publications from subcontractors and suppliers, ensuring compliance with standards.
• Participate in discussions to gather necessary information for manual production.
• Respond to technical queries from Service Engineering employees.
• Assist in developing and executing internal training programs for writers, organize work within the group, and facilitate communication.
• Assess and define functional needs for work tools continually.
• Assist in preparing quotes and analyzing client specifications.
• Support any ad-hoc activities required by managers.
