The Sales Professional within our stores is primarily responsible for selling merchandise and positively impacting the customer's experience through all aspects of customer service. Developing customer relationships and exceeding sales is foremost in the Sales Professionals' skill set.
Responsibilities
- Drives sales through engagement of customers, suggestive selling, and sharing product knowledge.
- Creates a comfortable atmosphere by greeting and receiving customers in a welcoming manner.
- Determines customers' needs, responds to questions.
- Cultivates new and existing customer relationships; establishes their trust.
- Provides outstanding service; provides recommendations based on customers' stated preferences, needs, and desires.
- Processes payments by handling checks, cash, and store or other credit and debit cards using a POS system.
- Maintains constant awareness of inventory to deter loss or damage; alerts management of potential security issues.
- Assists with inventory, including stock counts, receiving, and stocking merchandise.
- Keeps customers informed by notifying them of preferred sales and future merchandise of potential interest.
- Remains knowledgeable and answers questions related to merchandise, sales, promotions, and store policy.
- Attends and participates in sales meetings.
- Consistently achieves or exceeds the monthly, quarterly, and annual store sales plan.
- Elevates in-store experience by consistently delivering memorable moments to every customer.
- Completes operational tasks as required to maintain the store and merchandise in optimum condition.
Requirements
Minimum of 2 years retail sales experience with jewelry, watches, or high-end luxury goods.High school degree or equivalent.Experience working in a commission-based sales environment; proven track record in achieving sales results.Proven understanding of the retail sales process and knowledge of inventory stocking procedures.Possess excellent communication skills in both spoken and written forms.Must be able to stand for a long period of time during business hours.Able to perform in fast-paced environment.Able to work effectively with others in a team-oriented environment and provide excellent customer service.Must be able to perform basic financial calculations.Proficiency with Point of Sales (POS) systems, client tracking systems, and Microsoft Outlook / email.Flexibility to work various shifts.Benefits : In accordance with Cayman Islands law
