We are seeking an independent, highly detailed, and creative Event Project Manager to lead our proposals and quotation development for corporate events and exhibitions.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys thinking creatively , yet works with precision and accuracy , ensuring every proposal, layout, costing and client communication is professionally delivered with zero missing details.
You will work closely with clients to understand their needs, craft high-quality proposals, develop creative event concepts, prepare accurate quotations, and manage the project handover to the operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Proposal & Concept Development
- Develop creative and visually appealing proposals for corporate events and exhibitions.
- Work closely with design team to create mood boards, creative concepts, 2D / 3D layouts.
- Understand client objectives and translate them into strong event ideas.
- Ensure all proposals are complete, clear, and error-free before submission.
Costing & Quotation Management
Prepare accurate, detailed and competitive quotations for clients.Double-check all costing, vendor pricing, quantities and assumptions to avoid mistakes.Update costing templates and ensure all pricing is up-to-date.Work with vendors to obtain best prices and negotiate as needed.Client Management
Communicate directly with clients professionally and confidently.Present proposals, clarify requirements, and manage expectations.Build long-term relationships through strong support and solutions.Project Coordination
Coordinate with internal departments (design, ops, production, accounts).Ensure smooth handover of confirmed projects to the operations team.Maintain structured project documentation, timelines and updates.Make independent decisions during proposal and costing preparation.Identify errors or risks early and propose solutions.Take ownership of proposal quality and costing accuracy.Job Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS
Education
Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Mass Communication, Event Management, Interior Design, or related fields .(We accept a wide range as long as candidate is creative + detail oriented.)
Experience
Minimum 2–4 years experience in :Event managementExhibition or interior designMarketing / creative proposalsProject coordinationClient servicingFresh but highly capable candidates with strong portfolios will also be considered for junior roles.Strong creative thinking and ability to generate event concepts.Highly meticulous, detail-oriented and organised.Strong costing, budgeting and quotation skills (very important).Excellent written and spoken communication.Able to work independently with minimal supervision.Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Bonus : Knowledge of SketchUp, Illustrator, or Canva for visual proposals.Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.Strong client-facing confidence and professionalism.Personality Traits
