Senior Manager, Corporate Strategy & Business Expansion

To identify and evaluate potential school acquisitions and new business opportunities, support management in strategic decision-making, and ensure compliance with government and MOE regulations. The role contributes directly to the company’s market growth, operational efficiency, and profitability within the framework of company policies, international best practices, and local labour laws.

Key Responsibilities

New Business Development

• Conduct comprehensive market research and intelligence gathering to identify emerging business opportunities and schools available for acquisition.
• Keep the Regional Director informed of market developments, potential acquisitions, and relevant industry trends.
• Prepare preliminary feasibility studies and business cases for Regional Director review and approval.
• Develop detailed acquisition proposals outlining school ownership, license status, location, financials, and other relevant details.
• Arrange and coordinate meetings between the Regional Director and prospective school owners.
• Negotiate terms and conditions of acquisition in line with the Regional Director’s guidance and approvals.
• Coordinate with valuation firms and consultants to conduct financial, operational, and legal due diligence.
• Liaise with corporate legal counsel to draft and finalize acquisition agreements based on approvals received.
• Prepare and submit weekly Business Development Reports to the Regional Director, summarizing progress, challenges, and recommendations.
