Position Summary
To plan, organize and monitor Air Operations activities, to ensure proper control and compliance in place during various stages including customers management; agent management; freight management and all the Air Operations documents, to meet high service quality requirements at minimal cost.
Responsibilities
- Promptly and professionally, attend to customer & oversea office requests.
- Keep accurate records of discussions and correspondence with customers / oversea offices with proper filing, archiving, ensuring easy retrieval of information.
- Responsible for cargo consolidation planning, booking space & equipment with carriers and airlines.
- Develop relevant reports and measurements relating to operations processes.
- Maintain and develop contacts with customers, carriers, airlines and other service providers in achieving a consistent and reliable service level.
- Ensure cost effectiveness of operations through established control of equipment, utilities and supplies.
- Ensuring data entry, Operations administration, costings and revenues are applied to each individual shipment.
- Ensure accuracy on Billing / Filling up invoices / job files.
- Ensure Daily Milestone report is updated on timely manner.
- Ensure tracking is always updated.
- Handle dangerous goods shipments.
- Other duties as assigned to the position.
Requirements
Degree or Diploma holder, preferably in Logistics Management or related discipline.At least 4 years in freight forwarding logistics experienced in Air Operations.Good customer service and administration skills.Good command of written and spoken in English & local language.Knowledge in CargoWise system will be an added advantage.Highly self-motivated and able to work independently.Problem-solving skills and ability to multi-task.Organized and analytical skills.Possess excellent communication skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
