Job Description
Tong Woh Group is looking for a proactive and driven Senior Business Development Executive to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for expanding our client base, identifying new business opportunities, and building strong relationships with potential and existing clients. This role is essential for driving the growth and success of our signature brands.
Main Responsibilities
Client Acquisition and Relationship Management :
- Identify strategic potential new channel for product listing and distribution expansion.
- Conduct client meetings presentations, negotiations to secure new listing and distribution channels, with support from brand management and marketing team.
- Recruit, develop and maintain strong relationship with clients.
Market Research and Analysis :
Conduct market research and gather insights to identify trends, opportunities, and potential clients.Analyze competitor activities and industry developments to inform business strategies.Provide action plan, insights and recommendations to the internal team based on market analysis.Monitor and analyze performance metric.Business Development Strategy and Execution :
Develop and implement business development strategies to achieve growth targets for assigned signature brands.Prepare and deliver business development proposals, contracts, and presentations to prospective clients.Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective marketing materials and campaigns.Lead Generation and Pipeline Management :
Manage and update the business development pipeline, ensuring timely follow-up and accurate reporting.Track and report on business development activities, progress, and results.Devise and implement marketing strategies to meet sales KPI using both online and traditional platforms.Collaboration and Communication :
Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, sales, operations, and sales coordinators.Communicate client feedback and market insights to internal stakeholders.Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of business strategies.Qualifications
Candidate must possess a degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as Business Development (F&B, FMCG industry added advantage).Demonstrated ability to support client acquisition efforts and contribute to business development goals.Strong communication and negotiation skills.Able to liaise with all levels of people internally and externally.Able to work effectively both independently and in a team-based environment.Required language(s) : Bahasa Malaysia, Mandarin, English, and Cantonese (added advantage).Comfortable working in ALCOHOL beverages industry.
