Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site position for a Head Barista located in Kuala Lumpur. The Head Barista will oversee daily coffee bar operations, prepare high‑quality coffee beverages, train new baristas, and maintain equipment. The role is responsible for ensuring the highest quality of coffee preparation, consistency in service, and training baristas to meet branded standards. Additionally, the Head Barista fosters a positive work culture, improves team performance, and guarantees customer satisfaction.

Qualifications & Skills

• Skilled in food preparation and professional barista techniques
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven communication abilities
• Customer service experience with a commitment to delivering excellent guest experiences
• Leadership qualities with the ability to train, mentor, and supervise team members
• High attention to detail with strong focus on cleanliness, hygiene, and safety standards
• Experience working in a fast‑paced café or coffee shop environment
• Passion for coffee with knowledge of various brewing methods
• Understanding of coffee bean roasting fundamentals, including roast profiles, bean origins, and flavor development
