Job Overview
As an Assistant Service Manager, you will play a key leadership role in managing service operations and ensuring the successful installation, maintenance, and optimal performance of commercial kitchen equipment. This position requires advanced technical expertise, strong people management skills, and the ability to oversee a service team while working closely with sales and management to deliver comprehensive, customer-focused solutions. You will also contribute to service strategy, process improvements, and business growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee and support complex service, repair, and preventive maintenance work on commercial kitchen equipment.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients through regular site visits and proactive issue resolution.
Analyze recurring technical issues, prepare root-cause reports, and recommend corrective / preventive actions to headquarters.
Conduct advanced training sessions for clients and internal teams on equipment operation, troubleshooting, and safety protocols.
