A DAY IN A LIFE

As a start up, you can expect your days to be pretty varied. Multitasking is normal, and sometimes, your skills or natural talents will be leveraged to support other business priorities. That said, the bulk of your working hours should involve you having to do :

Develop and implement country-specific marketing frameworks that encompass campaign strategy, execution, and reporting, ensuring alignment with Teleport's overall objectives.

Ensure the alignment and further enhancement of Teleport's overall brand positioning within the country.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute marketing plans, including content creation and project timelines, ensuring consistent messaging across platforms.

Build strong relationships with the Regional marketing team to leverage resources and maintain cohesive marketing efforts.

Conduct thorough market research to understand the target country's demographics, cultural nuances, and consumer behavior, ensuring alignment with the Sales and BD team's strategy.

Tailor marketing messages, content, and creative elements to local preferences, language, and cultural sensitivities, ensuring regulatory compliance to enhance Teleport's relevance.

Plan and execute local campaigns (both online and offline) to support the local Commercial teams in reaching their customers and driving sales.

Implement robust data analytics to measure campaign performance, monitor key performance indicators (KPIs), and make informed, data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.

SKILLS

These are minimum-requirement skills and a ‘must-have’ for the role : (If any, otherwise you can skip)

Growth Marketing Expertise : Demonstrated experience in driving growth through innovative marketing strategies.

Resourceful and Self-Starter : Proactive and able to work independently, with a proven ability to solve problems and overcome challenges.

Generalist Skills : Capable of strategizing the big picture while managing detailed execution, with a general understanding of marketing channels including social media, advertising, and email marketing.

Project Management : Strong organizational and project management skills to handle multiple initiatives and ensure timely delivery.

Proficiency in Data Analysis : Crucial for assessing campaign performance, understanding consumer behavior, and making data-driven decisions.

Strong Communication Skills : Excellent written and verbal communication skills, especially in content creation, localization, and customer support.

Mandarin & English Proficiency : Excellent command of English and local languages, both written and spoken.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE

A bachelor's or master's degree in marketing, business, communications, or a related field is often beneficial. However, practical experience and skills are highly valued.

An appreciation for cultural differences and the ability to adapt marketing strategies to align with local preferences and customs.

Previous experience in adapting marketing materials for different regions, including language localization and cultural nuances.

Communication & eCommerce Background : Experience in communication or eCommerce is a plus.
