Job descriptionDiploma or degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience. Proven experience in a production supervisory role within a manufacturing environment in extrusion and rotomoulding. Strong leadership and communication skills. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Knowledge of lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with production planning and scheduling. Commitment to maintaining a safe and positive work environment.
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate a team of production workers to achieve daily, weekly, and monthly production targets.
- Monitor and adjust production schedules as needed to meet changing demands and priorities.
- Implement and enforce quality control processes to ensure products meet or exceed industry standards.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify areas for improvement and maintain product quality.
- Provide training and development opportunities for production staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Ensure that all production activities comply with safety regulations and company policies.
