Food and Beverage Captain
An F&B Captain is a frontline supervisor who ensures smooth dining operations by coordinating service staff and delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role bridges the gap between the service team and management.
Responsibilities
- Oversee waitstaff and ensure timely, courteous service.
- Greet guests, manage reservations, and resolve complaints.
- Assign tables, monitor performance, and support training.
- Ensure correct order taking and communication with kitchen.
- Monitor dining supplies and report shortages.
- Maintain hygiene and enforce food safety standards.
- Assist in shift reports, sales tracking, and feedback collection.
Qualifications & Experience
Minimum requirement : At least 1-2 years in F&B as Senior Server or Captain roles.
Experience both service and supervisory roles at Bistro and Bar outlets.Prior work in multicultural environments.Food safety knowledge.Skills & Knowledge
Ability to guide and motivate service teams.Strong interpersonal and conflict‑resolution skills.Familiarity with SOPs, service flow and quality control.Clear and professional interaction with guests and staff.POS systems, reservation platforms and reporting tools.Ensure accuracy in service and compliance.Application Process
