Accounts Executive

We are currently seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accounts Executive to join our retail team. As an Accounts Executive, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring the smooth accounts operations of our retail business. Your primary responsibilities will include handling full set accounts and managing subsidiary companies' financial matters. You will work closely with the finance team and report directly to the Head of Operations Finance.

Responsibilities

• Full Set Accounts Management : Manage and maintain the full set of accounts, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, and financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
• Subsidiary Companies : Oversee the financial activities of subsidiary companies, including preparation of financial reports, consolidation of accounts, and intercompany transactions.
• Financial Reporting : Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for management review. Analyze financial data, identify trends, and provide insights to aid in decision-making.
• Budgeting and Forecasting : Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring performance against budgetary targets, and providing variance analysis.
• Tax Compliance : Ensure compliance with all tax-related matters, including timely filing of tax returns and handling tax audits.
• Audit Support : Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audit periods, providing necessary documentation and explanations to facilitate the audit process.
• Bank Reconciliation : Perform regular bank reconciliations to ensure accurate and up-to-date cash balances.
• Expense Management : Monitor and control expenses, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines.
• Process Improvement : Continuously assess and improve accounting processes and systems to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Financial Compliance : Ensure adherence to accounting policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
