Job descriptionMinimum of 1-2 years of experience in a QA / QC role within a manufacturing or production environment. In-depth understanding and practical experience with quality management systems, particularly ISO 9001 standards, including implementation, auditing, and continuous improvement processes and ISO documentation. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Good communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams. Proficiency in Mandarin, English, and Malay is preferred. Proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients. A degree in Engineering or Quality Management is beneficial but candidates with significant relevant experience are strongly encouraged.
Job Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance and quality control procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Monitor production processes to identify and resolve quality issues promptly.
- Prepare and maintain detailed quality documentation, including inspection reports, test results, and non-conformance reports.
- Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address quality concerns and implement corrective actions.
- Perform root cause analysis for quality-related issues and recommend preventive measures.
- Ensure all products meet customer specifications and industry standards.
- Train and guide staff on quality standards, procedures, and best practices.
- Stay updated with industry trends, regulations, and advancements in quality assurance and control.
