Job Summary
The purpose of this position is to lead the day to day delivery of the assigned portfolio of accounts. This incorporates driving rapid sustainable growth, statutory compliance and governance, the management and development of staff (operational, sales, contract support and management), the continual development of our customers base and full operational responsibility of the assigned portfolio of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning and Review : Exploit all opportunities of strategic development of the portfolio, deliver increased turnover and profitability, increase additional services and projects and renew all contracts / tenders
- Financial & Asset Management : Take appropriate actions indicated by variances to ensure revenue, operating profit, working capital and booking targets are met and continually improved upon without compromising exceptional service standard or customer relationship
- Operational Management : Provide leadership with full responsibility of profit & loss including development of contract financial planning for revenue and profit delivery, reduction of WIP, debt, cost reduction and contract growth, and ensure that these are met and exceeded; communicate and implement business policies and processes within the contract for various portfolio of accounts effectively; ensure fair treatment of suppliers; work closely with procurement to ensure maximum use of preferred suppliers and robust back to back contracts; optimize staffing structure across contracts to balance costs and service, including disaster recovery and leveraging expertise
- Business Development and Marketing : Support the sales process through solutions development, participate in presentations and meetings, host visits and support mobilization of new accounts or demobilization of exit accounts; build high-level customer relationships and focus on delivering excellent service levels
- Quality and Safety Management : Monitor and identify areas for improvement; create a culture of quality and innovation; ensure compliance with mandatory processes including line management auditing, HOP auditing, QSHE objectives and training; drive continuous safety improvement
- People Management : Ensure the team has the skills and motivation, ensure induction and mandatory trainings, annual appraisals, and CBRE appraisal process compliance; maintain visibility and accessibility to the team
- Succession and Talent : Build a robust succession plan with Talent Management and foster a culture of reward and recognition
