Job responsibilities focus on Corporate Finance Management, treasury management, and reporting to various stakeholders to ensure that the company’s immediate and long-term goals and objectives in corporate finance matters and related commercial issues are realized in accordance with the company’s objectives.
To assist in the overall functions of Corporate Finance Management comprising treasury management and monitoring existing loans, evaluating additional financing requirements, and coordinating and assisting in the finalisation of Information Memorandum and Prospectus for syndication and listing respectively.
To assist in Treasury Management by ensuring that the company’s immediate and long-term goals and objectives with regards to commercial issues are realised in accordance with the objectives of the Company.
Job Responsibilities
1. Corporate Finance Management
- Liaise with Company’s financial advisors and governmental bodies (MOT, MOF, UKAS, EPU, IRBM, MIDA, Auditor’s General, RMCD, the shareholders, financial institutions, the Company’s secretary and other external parties where relevant)
- Assist in preparing financial analysis reports, dashboards, and presentations (covering all revenues, expenditures, and CAPEX) for senior management and other stakeholders. Ensure the accuracy, clarity, and consistency of all financial information and analysis.
- Assist in tax exemption or tax incentive matters including obtaining approval from the Government or from the relevant agency.
- Engage with financial institutions regarding banking and financing matters. This entails overseeing existing facilities, identifying and securing new financing options, and managing all required financial covenants.
- Assist in the preparation of financial analysis and computation for ESG purposes.
- Assist in handling matters in relation to the shareholders.
2. Treasury Management
Monitor bank balance on daily basis as well as preparation of cashflow projection and financial model.Plan and monitor treasury planning in maximizing the available fund and banking facilities towards the generation of income to the company.Monitor the banking facilities covenants periodically and ensure the company is meeting the compliance requirements effectively and efficiently.Communicate with bankers regarding cash balances, providing judgments and recommendations for fund placements to the Head of FRMTo assist in monitoring PSC reconciliation to ensure the accuracy and completeness on the billing prepared by MAB.To assist in monitoring the PSC collection from MAB.To assist in preparing PSC reports as part of Management Report and for quarterly updates to the Board.Proactively monitor and track banking facilities, ensuring covenant compliance. Also, assist in negotiations with financial institutions to ensure alignment with the company's treasury strategy.Review and assess concession agreement covenants to proactively identify and manage business and financial risks and opportunities. This ensures the Company's full compliance with all contractual obligations and deliverables.To be a team player and give full co-operation to the HOM in achieving the Management Unit’s objectives.Must be able to work together with other Management Unit and to ensure effective work interfacing.To support the Management and observe all the company’s policies, rules, regulations, guidelines, etc at all times.To upgrade IT knowledge and competency whenever the company introduces new IT systems and technologies.To upgrade corporate finance and banking, accounting standards, corporate taxation and corporate law knowledge and competency whenever there is any update by the Government or the relevant authorities and professional institutions.To undertake all other assignments and duties as instructed by the CEO and the Management from time to time.Note : Successful candidate will be offered a 2 years’ employment contract with possibility to be absorbed as permanent or contract renewal (based on performance) before or at the end of the contract.
