Job Description

• Maintaining and improving company Quality Management System (ISO 9001) and conduct company internal quality audits with a team of internal auditors.
• Study and analyse type of motivation, counseling and training need for the departments in order to obtain higher quality work skills to meet daily operation requirements and to satisfy budgeted levels.
• Verify, analyse in order to derive suitable preventive and breakdown maintenance.
• Verify and analyse internal and external customer requirement for quality improvement (process & products).
• Establish and maintain the data recording system (derived from production, process, quality), to help the production team to understand about the achievement of production and quality.
• To plan and coordinate the department plant layout, equipment modification, capacity planning, method and time study.
• Assist to establish goal setting (goal / KPI, KAP determine by manager or management) and goal achievement.
• Assist production team, to provide technical and engineering support for continuous improvement of existing process control, yield optimization and cost effectiveness.
• Establish good housekeeping system and safety awareness in the shop floor.
• Organize and schedule design work, production lead time to meet customer timescale, customer specifications and cost estimates.
• Provide engineering support, ensure all the technical data, method of production and customers specifications are established and communicate to all relevant departments.
• Take part in Kaizen activity, carry our of design experiment / test, data collection, analysis of data, and derive of appropriate counter-measurement, verify the effectiveness of counter measurement, and establish procedure.
• Take part in sample preparation and color matching, assist to observe all appropriate data and pre-determine of process parameter (flow chart, quality plan)
• Analyse and recommend action to be taken pertaining to department consumables, spare parts and stocks.
• Observe and analyse in-process quality inspection result, QC (outgoing) result and customer complaint / requirement against department quality objective (KPI)
• Plan, organize, controlling and monitoring plant preventive maintenance activities to ensure the machines and equipments are working in good condition and at highest efficiency.
• Maximizing operation efficiency by focusing on resource utilization and employee training as well as continuous improvement.
• Motivating, counseling and training subordinates to obtain high quality work skills to meet daily operation requirements and to satisfy budgeted levels.
• Liaise with internal and external supplier for any preventive and breakdown maintenance service.
