Position Title :

Application Support Analyst

Location : Onsite KL

Role Overview :

We are seeking a detail-oriented Application Support Analyst to manage and support core banking and enterprise systems within a highly regulated environment. You will be responsible for monitoring application performance, addressing incidents, and ensuring system availability in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities :

Oversee the bank's portfolio of applications, ensuring their stability, availability, and performance.

Hands-on work on technical issue troubleshooting and ensure application functionality.

Participate in the planning and execution of application upgrades and enhancements.

Monitor system performance, track incidents, and proactively address potential issues.

Ensure compliance with regulatory and security requirements for banking application.

Continually work towards making improvements in the release process.

Support project team on DEV, SIT and UAT environment deployment and troubleshooting.

Familiar with ITIL based Bank IT process, especially on incident, problem and change management.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in computer science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related fields.

3 years of Technical / Application Support experience on multi technology platforms.

Good knowledge on Linux OS, Windows Server, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle.

Cross-platform experience and the expertise to identify and resolve integration issues.

Excellent understanding of the CI / CD practice. l Familiar with application release methodology.

Experience in software development lifecycle and agile development methodologies.

Experience working in a financial services institution with understanding of MAS technology risk requirements.

Highly self-motivated to excel in assigned tasks and to deliver results for a digital bank.

Good communication and coordination skills. l Hands-on development experience is a plus.
