Handles loan administration tasks for Commerzbank, focusing on the control and operational aspects of approved credit transactions. Ensures completeness of loan transactional documentation, maintains accurate input and maintenance of loan transactions in relevant bank systems, and coordinates with branches, head office, and other departments for regular and ad‑hoc reports.
Manages credit portfolios of Asia / Europe branches (Singapore, Tokyo, China & Frankfurt), provides relief coverage for team members, and supports the implementation and initiatives carried out by management and the company / group.
Key Activities
- Understand the technicalities of bilateral, syndicated, and agency loan agreements according to prevailing market standards.
- Check the set‑up (input / amendment / cancellation etc.) of credit facility limits in relevant bank systems.
- Oversee the administration for loan bilateral & syndicated facilities where the bank assumes the Facility Agent role.
- Oversee a dedicated agency portfolio in terms of paying agency responsibility where the facility agency is in Frankfurt, New York, or Singapore.
- Facilitate and monitor operational matters between the borrower and lenders, including utilisation request, rate fixing, rollovers, repayment, loan interest, technical waiver, etc.
- Coordinate between the borrower and lenders for invoicing, receipt and distributions of interests, arrangement fees, upfront fees, commitment fees, agency fees, etc. when required.
- Liaise with the Loan Agency team in Frankfurt and head office, relationship managers and various internal stakeholders on documentation and other administrative matters.
- Liaise with bilateral & syndicated loan customers, lenders, borrowers and relevant departments for loan drawdowns, rollovers, prepayments, repayments & related fee.
- Process (input / authorise) of loan transactions and fees settlements in the relevant bank systems (i.e. LoanIQ, Summit, Phoenix, Mzue).
- Handle booking of secondary loan trades.
- Review loan documentation in terms of technical and operational feasibility.
- Ensure proper recordings and maintenance of loan administration files.
Reporting
Co‑ordinate with other departments, branches and head office on internal reporting requirements.Prepare reports for use by Loan Agency, Credit department, Branch Management and head office.Other Administrative Tasks
Supports other initiatives / ad‑hoc tasks as assigned.Supports resolution of operational issues and implementation of continuous work process improvements.Holiday Coverage
Supports Commerzbank Frankfurt, Singapore, Tokyo & China during KL holiday; if it’s Monday to Friday working day in Frankfurt, Singapore, Tokyo & China.Additional Task Assigned by Group Head and Subject to Job Rotation

Formal Education
University degree or Commercial School Graduate preferred.
Specialist / Senior Specialist Knowledge (Work Experience, Further Qualification)
At least 5‑7 years of experience in a financial institution with similar capacity.Good knowledge and understanding of corporate / commercial banking products and related facility and security documentation.Ability to work independently and a good team player.Proactive, positive attitude and ability to work under pressure.Possesses strong interpersonal and communication skills.Good problem‑solving skills with the ability to apply up‑to‑date knowledge and best practices to develop value‑added solutions.Ability to multi‑task, prioritise and manage daily workflow.Business‑level English language in both oral and written communication. Mandarin speaker is preferred to effectively communicate with Mandarin‑speaking clients.Service oriented to key clients and stakeholders.Adhere with all internal and external policies and guidelines (i.e. ComValues, Culture of Integrity, Code of Conduct, ABC Policy, TRM etc.).LoanIQ experience, experience with DebtDomain as an advantage.Working Hours
