Role & Responsibilities :

Support Group Logistics strategic initiatives.

Logistics provider management and new logistics provider development

To participate and support with all projects in close collaboration with teams and Group Logistics for Logistics provider selection, negotiation, and contract implementation

Developing cost-effective strategies for the logistics of goods in the business.

Working with the team for sourcing and negotiating with logistics providers for best prices, best quality, payment terms, and delivery timelines.

Stay informed of current trends in fluctuating variables in the logistics rates.

Build relationships within the company and with external parties, such as suppliers, transporter or distributors.

To assist and implement the tendering process for logistics.

Provide support to resolve logistics provider quality issues and take corrective action.

Coordinating the transportation and distribution of goods from suppliers to manufacturing plants or warehouses, and then to customers.

Optimizing transportation costs to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.

Comply with all site and Corporate SOPs and documented processes.

Prepare reports on logistics performance

Other duties may be assigned

Qualification :

Minimum of a bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field of study.

preferably at least 5 years experience in logistic management.

Excellent proactive problem-solving and analytical skills.

Extensive knowledge of procurement & logistics strategies, tactics, negotiation, and contracting skills.

Previous experience working in manufacturing industry is preferred.

Advanced PC skills (specifically Excel, Power Point & Word) including knowledge and hands-on experience with ERP / MRP systems will be an advantage.

Familiarity with enterprise resource planning (ERP) software is preferred.
