• Key Accountabilities :
• Assisting the Section Head in overseeing the efficient operation of cash management and management accounting functions, encompassing month end closing, payment processing, collections, and reconciliations.
• Key Duties and Responsibilities :
• Maintaining an accurate and effective general ledger, including fixed assets, accounts payable, and accounts receivable sub-ledgers.
• Preparing and processing payments and collections.
• Conducting timely bank and key account reconciliations.
• Preparing and posting journal entries for the month end closing.
• Preparing daily cash flow to ensure timely execution of payments and fund transfers.
• Processing claims for staff reimbursements.
• Processing payments for direct and indirect taxes.
• Performing additional ad-hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor as required.
• Job Specifications :
• Qualifications
• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualifications.
• Experience
• Minimum 3 years’ working experience in handling account receivables, account payables, general ledger, month end closing activities, payments, receipts and intercompany transactions.
• Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
• Strong knowledge in management accounting and double entries.
• Strong knowledge of MS Office Applications especially MS Excel (advance level)
• Knowledge / experience in Oracle Accounting system would be an added advantage.
• Good analytical, problem-solving skills and resourceful.
• Must be independent, initiative, and have high level of integrity.
• Result oriented and proactive.
• Organised and accurate.
