Responsibilities
- Coordinate New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from initial concept and design through to full production hand-over, ensuring delivery on time, within budget, and to quality specifications.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration : Work closely with design, manufacturing, quality assurance, and material teams to ensure smooth and efficient product launches.
- DFM / DFA : Coordinate Design for Manufacturability and Design for Assembly reviews to ensure the product can be efficiently and cost-effectively produced.
- Process Development : Develop and document manufacturing processes, work instructions, and test procedures. Coordinate and oversee pilot builds, analyse the results, and perform process validation to ensure stability and repeatability.
- Work with the material planner to ensure component readiness, manage quality and supply, and facilitate the purchase of tooling.
- Identify and mitigate production risks early in the development cycle by performing risk analyses and developing mitigation plans.
- Documentation : Create and maintain all necessary documentation, including process documentation, quality reports, and technical reports.
- Tooling & Equipment : Support the selection and validation of tooling and equipment required for the manufacturing process.
Key Skills & Qualifications
Proficiency in technical problem-solving and troubleshooting.Experience with CAD models and engineering drawings.Understanding of quality and regulatory standards.Excellent communication and coordination skills.Knowledge of manufacturing processes, specifically in PCBA manufacturing, networking switches, storages and servers.About Celestica
