Overview

HL Lee & Co. WP. Kuala Lumpur, Federal Territory of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia is seeking a Senior Legal Associate with the ambition to grow into a Junior Partner within a short to medium-term horizon. The candidate should demonstrate strong legal acumen, leadership qualities, and the ability to independently manage files and clients.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage legal files with minimal supervision.
Provide strategic advice and legal solutions to clients.
Review, draft, and negotiate legal documents and agreements.
Supervise junior legal staff and contribute to firm development.
If experienced, handle end-to-end conveyancing transactions including SPA, loan documentation, and property-related advisory.

Requirements

Qualified Advocate & Solicitor of the High Court of Malaya with at least 5-10 years of post-qualification experience.

Strong general legal background; conveyancing experience is preferred but not mandatory.

Demonstrated ability to handle clients independently and drive matters to completion.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Entrepreneurial mindset and readiness for partnership progression.
