Senior IT Operations Engineer

Functions / Responsibilities

A Senior IT Operation Engineer collaborates with the Technical Operations Manager to deliver Group IT Services, including planning, managing, and operating according to business needs. The role works closely with local leadership teams to manage daily operations and drive continuous service improvements across IT platforms.

This position also involves working with group and local IT teams to develop and implement IT initiatives aligned with operational and IT goals. Responsibilities include evaluating existing infrastructure, exploring available technologies, and recommending and implementing approved system and process improvements.

The Senior IT Operation Engineer oversees the overall flow of operations to ensure desired results are achieved, business interests are satisfied, and resources are utilized efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Advise on key IT operations and infrastructure choices.
• Lead IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
• Oversee vendor contracts for support and maintenance.
• Liaise with vendors and suppliers of IT equipment and telecommunication services.
