Oversee back-end support, equipment, connectivity, and applications. Maintain inventory of IT & company equipment and ensure correct product licensing. Perform Root Cause Analysis to identify, resolve, and prevent recurring issues. Act as part of the office facilities coordination team to ensure smooth operations, maintenance, and equipment functionality. Maintain IT documentation and ensure compliance. Develop and update internal IT procedures. Provide regular updates to management on status, achievements, and challenges. Ensure compliance with corporate / regional practices, policies, and procedures. Ability to prioritize effectively and work with urgency. Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Target-driven and results-oriented. Quick learner with adaptability to acquire new knowledge. Driven and responsible professional with hands-on IT operations experience. Expertise in hosting environments, AWS, Azure, and hybrid setups. Skilled in backup solutions and disaster recovery planning. Proficient in Active Directory administration, identity management, Microsoft Intune, and SharePoint. Experienced in managing physical servers and data centers. Knowledgeable in firewalls, routing, switching, and network security. Strong troubleshooting, project management, and communication skills. Solid understanding of IT infrastructure (hardware, software, networks, cloud services). Technical skills include PowerShell scripting, virtualization, storage management, and network configuration. Continuous learner with a proactive, positive attitude. Minimum Diploma in IT, Computer Studies, or equivalent. ITIL Foundation certified with 3+ years in ITIL Service Management. Good spoken and written proficiency in English and Mandarin to effectively support Mandarin-speaking internal customers. Functions / Responsibilities
A Senior IT Operation Engineer collaborates with the Technical Operations Manager to deliver Group IT Services, including planning, managing, and operating according to business needs. The role works closely with local leadership teams to manage daily operations and drive continuous service improvements across IT platforms.
This position also involves working with group and local IT teams to develop and implement IT initiatives aligned with operational and IT goals. Responsibilities include evaluating existing infrastructure, exploring available technologies, and recommending and implementing approved system and process improvements.
The Senior IT Operation Engineer oversees the overall flow of operations to ensure desired results are achieved, business interests are satisfied, and resources are utilized efficiently.
Key Responsibilities

- Lead IT projects, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.
- Oversee vendor contracts for support and maintenance.
- Liaise with vendors and suppliers of IT equipment and telecommunication services.
