Responsibilities
- Supervise daily accounting functions including AP, AR, cash management, and general ledger.
- Prepare and review monthly financial statements, management reports, and reconciliations.
- Monitor budgets, expenses, and variances, providing analysis and recommendations to management.
- Ensure compliance with AEON’s accounting standards, internal controls, and statutory requirements (audit, tax, SST).
- Coordinate with HQ Finance on reporting deadlines, audits, and financial policies.
- Supervise and train subordinates in the Accounts team to ensure efficiency and accuracy.
- Support store management with financial analysis to aid business decisions.
- Handle year-end closing, audits, and liaise with external auditors / tax agents.
Requirements
Possessed at least a Diploma / Degree Holder in any field.2-3 years of working experience in retail operations management / human resources / account-related field.Able to work on shift including Off Day, Rest Day or Public Holiday - Not an Office Hour Job.About AEON Malaysia
