Job descriptionMarket Intelligence Hub : Maintain expert awareness of competitive landscape, industry trends, major events, and competitor positioning to proactively identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Insight Generation : Under minimal guidance, produce comprehensive due diligence reports and presentations with qualitative & quantitative assessments to support senior leadership in securing major deals. Professional Representation : Actively cultivate and expand a professional network by representing the firm at key industry conferences and professional organization events. Relationship Advocacy : Serve as a conduit for client feedback, collecting deep insights into relationship satisfaction, and provide actionable suggestions to senior colleagues to ensure long‑term account retention. Degree holder with at least 8–10 years of dedicated Business Development experience. Experience rooted in Financial Services or the Insurance Broking industry, demonstrating domain credibility and knowledge of complex risk environments. Exceptional Sales Drive : Genuine passion for strategic sales and professional networking to connect authentically with corporate leaders. Executive Communication : Excellent articulation, grammar, and persuasive skills to clearly convey complex value propositions to C‑suite and executive stakeholders. Strategic Agility : Outstanding interpersonal and organizational skills, high project‑management capability, efficient management of diverse situations, and ability to pivot quickly as priorities change. Analytical Acumen : Strong business acumen and analytical skills to translate complex data and market insights into strategic decisions and successful client outcomes. Strategic Growth & Revenue Generation
- Responsible for aggressively meeting and exceeding sales targets, combining active pursuit and relationship leverage.
- Pioneering New Business : Systematically target and acquire large, high‑yield accounts through executive‑level referrals and proactive, strategized cold‑calling campaigns.
- Driving High‑Value Wins : Lead the formal response process for large‑scale RFPs, developing custom solutions addressing the client's most complex risk challenges.
- Targeted Outreach Planning : Construct and deploy sophisticated marketing initiatives, translating overarching business concepts into targeted plans for attracting new, strategic client accounts.
