Lead Engineer, Telecom — MODEC Offshore Production Systems (Singapore) / Offshore Frontier Solutions

Location : KL Eco City, Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Understand technical requirements for telecoms of the assigned project, including Construction, Commissioning and Offshore assignment, and Industry Standard, Classification Society and Regulatory requirements.
• Develop and review engineering documents, including drawings, to ensure requirements of specified discipline are met in project delivery.
• Plan, review and approve deliverables prepared by Engineers and reviewed by Senior Engineers.
• Manage team productivity, including Senior Engineers, in the development of engineering specifications (drawings, data sheets, etc.), review them and validate with the Project Manager and client.
• Ensure compliance with MODEC HSSEQ Code of Conduct, HSEQ Procedures, and protect people and the environment.
• Comply with MODEC Group’s Code of Business Conduct & Ethics & Policies, ensuring business activities and decisions conform to laws and regulations and demonstrate high standard of ethical behavior.
• Ensure required information is communicated between all parties and work is compliant with quality standards (Quality Assurance).
• Evaluate bids for Telecom packages, perform technical bid evaluation, involve in cost estimation, and ensure selected vendors meet technical / engineering and delivery requirements.
• Independently manage and develop solutions to technical / engineering problems by analyzing issues / data, interpreting the analysis and evaluating options using experience and professional references.
• Conduct supplier & equipment audits / inspection, visit suppliers, check and test electrical items, rectify issues with suppliers / contractors and ensure compliance with specifications and readiness on time.
• Provide EPCI Project Support.
