Adecco's client, a well-established multinational organization, is seeking an experienced Legal Counsel to support the legal team in managing and reviewing contracts related to banking and finance matters . The role involves handling agreements such as bank account, cash pooling, and FX contracts, ensuring legal compliance and alignment with internal policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Review, draft, and negotiate banking‑related legal agreements, including bank account, cash pooling, and foreign exchange (FX) contracts.
- Manage and maintain contract documentation, ensuring timely renewals and compliance with contractual obligations.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders across business, operations, finance, and legal functions to ensure contract terms meet organizational objectives and governance standards.
- Conduct legal research and provide sound legal advice on banking and financing transactions.
- Stay updated on regulatory and legislative changes relevant to banking, finance, and contract law, and communicate implications to the business.
Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Law; Juris Master or equivalent qualification preferred.Legal qualification in an APAC jurisdiction (common or civil law).Minimum 4 years of post‑qualification experience (PQE), with at least 3 years in contract management or banking and finance law.Strong understanding of contract law and banking regulations, with prior exposure to banking or financial institutions preferred.Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin as an added advantage (for document drafting, review, and stakeholder communication).Desired Skills and Experience
