Regional Business Development Manager - Freight Forwarding
Our client is a multinational company specializing in international freight forwarding and overseas logistics, with a presence across Europe, Asia-Pacific, North America, and Africa.
Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in air and sea freight forwarding.
- Qualify new opportunities within logistics in-house companies, small to medium sized companies with decent size of logistics activities.
- Develop and maintain long term customer relationship.
- Establish sales strategies, target lists, volume goals into relevant market segments.
- Manage activities including calls, sales presentations and meetings.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing in line with company policies and profitability goals.
Requirements
5 - 8 years of sales / business development experience in freight forwarding / logistics / transportation.Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.Proven sales track record in developing new business with customers.Experienced in trade lanes across Asia, Europe or Africa region.Excellent communication skills to do business presentation and contract negotiations.To apply, please click “APPLY NOW” or email Benjamin Teh at Data provided is for recruitment purposes only.
