We are currently seeking a SharePoint Support Engineer to join our team in Cyberjaya, Selangor (MY‑10), Malaysia.

The support specialist will be a techno‑functional support team member for the Consumer Banking Services cluster under the IT BAU team. He / she is responsible for ensuring system availability and timely deliverables for applications like SharePoint, EA Tools, and OCR. The support specialist, as an analyst expert within the IT team, will closely coordinate and work with various teams such as Tech Infra, application services, solutioning, project and business units in the bank. He / she follows up to resolve issues reported by users and performs impact analysis related projects / enhancements that will impact the Consumer Banking Services applications.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide BAU support for Consumer Banking Services systems such as SharePoint, EA Tool, and OCR systems.
• Provide operational support and ensure SLI of system availability, online, and batch deliverables.
• Support diverse jurisdictions comprising of SG, MY, and BOS.
• Fine‑tune applications and systems for high performance and higher volume throughput.
• Plan and configure SharePoint environments.
• Administer and maintain SharePoint sites.
• Provide user support.
• Contribute to business requirement review for technical implementation as a subject‑matter expert to ensure SDLC standards are met.
• Review technical and functional solutions from enhancement / project teams to ensure they conform to IT standards.
• Respond to queries raised by various business units promptly.
• Provide timely updates on production status and progress of issue resolution.
• Perform impact analysis of enhancements / projects that affect supported systems.
• Participate in Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity exercises.
• Provide on‑call support and after‑hours / weekend support as needed, covering application support and application change deployment.
• Maintain a quality mindset with a prevention attitude to achieve zero defects.
• Develop business intelligence and analytics solutions (SSRS).
• Support SIT / UAT / PROD / DR deployments, with DevOps.
• Support relevant software / platform / database upgrades for the systems.
• Work with the system delivery team for smooth transition from projects / enhancements to BAU mode.
• Monitor systems, manage batch jobs, and ensure night batch jobs complete within SLA.
