Assistant Finance Manager / Finance Manager
Manage full spectrum of finance and accounting functions, including AP, AR, GL, cash flow, payroll processing and statutory contributions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, HRDF, PCB).
Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual management accounts and financial statements in compliance with Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards (MFRS).
Handle budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support management decision-making.
Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, banks, and government authorities (e.g., LHDN, EPF, SOCSO, HRDF).
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements such as corporate tax, SST, Companies Act and Employment Act 1955.
Develop and implement internal controls, policies, and procedures.
Support management in financial analysis, business planning, and risk management.
Oversee end-to-end HR functions including recruitment, onboarding, performance appraisal, training, employee engagement initiatives and offboarding.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent.
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in finance, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian tax laws, labour legislation, and statutory compliance.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and multitasking abilities.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Strong Communication, Leadership and Interpersonal Skills
Proficient in Microsoft Excel and basic accounting / HR software.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to meet deadlines
