Lead and manage all critical operations of data centres to ensure safe, efficient, reliable, and cost-effective performance. Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot engineering infrastructure systems including mechanical, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, fire protection, life safety, BMS, and security systems. Provide design proposals, perform engineering calculations, and support installation and maintenance of critical systems. Monitor facility performance, recommend preventive and proactive maintenance methods, and improve operational standards. Coordinate and respond promptly to emergencies, incidents, and system failures, ensuring corrective measures and reporting are carried out effectively. Act as subject matter expert in critical environment systems, maintaining professionalism and ensuring 100% uptime. Safeguard and improve the value of company assets through proper system management and hands-on troubleshooting when required. Conduct site inspections, team meetings, and vendor coordination to ensure maintenance work is carried out with high standards and good workmanship. Ensure compliance with SLAs, including timely incident escalation, reporting, and documentation. Develop maintenance strategies, plans, and schedules covering preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance. Review and audit SOPs, MOPs, and EOPs regularly to ensure team readiness and system reliability. Collaborate with Safety and Security teams to identify hazards and implement safety measures, including PPE usage, toolbox meetings, and risk management practices. Ensure compliance with all regulatory laws and internal policies, highlighting any discrepancies to management. Support facility projects, upgrades, construction, commissioning, and modifications with technical expertise. Maintain accurate and updated documentation including SLDs, building drawings, maintenance records, and compliance documents. Manage vendor and contractor performance; ensure contracts are in place and OEM standards are met for critical systems. Prepare and submit reports (monthly and as required) in line with company and customer requirements. Ensure continuous training and qualification of vendors and staff working in critical environments. Perform root cause analysis of incidents and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence. Develop and maintain emergency response plans, ensuring 24 / 7 availability (including after office hours, weekends, and public holidays) to support fault investigation if required. Education & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering. Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in Facilities Management, building services, or similar field. Experience in Data Centre operations or high-tech facilities (e.g., semiconductor plant) is an advantage. Language & Communication
Proficient in English (spoken and written). Able to prepare detailed technical reports, lead meetings, present to customers, and conduct internal training sessions. Knowledge & Skills
Strong knowledge of building laws, safety regulations, emergency procedures, and environmental protection. Hands-on experience with critical systems : HVAC, standby / emergency power, UPS, and related infrastructure. Good financial knowledge including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control. Proficient in CMMS, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). AutoCAD proficiency is
