Resident Engineer

Duties & Responsibilities :

• Participate in the execution, supervision and coordination of all technical aspects of field.
• Report regularly on the site progress and problem areas encountered especially matter related to defective, outstanding or non-conforming works or delayed works.
• Supervise C.O.Ws in daily site activities and their assigned task, including problem solving and propose mitigation solution.
• Ensure work on site is carried in accordance with the approved drawings and specifications and the contract completion timeline
• Perform field quality checking & control on site work and materials to be used for construction.
• Provide field engineering support to resolve site technical and construction problems.
• Assist Consultant to review and prepare responses to Request for Information (RFI) and other contractor's submittals when necessary.
• Upkeep and maintain proper filing, record and documentation for site correspondence, report, construction drawings, shop drawings and etc.
• Provide recommendations to Project Management Team / Consultant for any site remedial works.
• Make recommendations to Project Management Team / Consultant on any contractual matters including contractor's claim.
• Implement any and all related policies, procedures and work instructions as so defined in the Company's Quality Management System.
