Overview
As a Project Manager (Interior Fit-out Work), you will be mainly responsible for coordinating with the design team, quantity surveyor, external consultants, sub-contractors, and vendors in the delivery of the project.
Duties and Responsibilities
- To plan, manage, monitor and control project operations.
- To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor’s activities at project sites.
- To maintain good house-keeping and implement ESH practices.
- To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
- To review and monitor site work productivity and arrange for resources as required.
- To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.
- To report project progress to top management.
- To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the QESH management system.
- To provide and demonstrate the leadership and commitment for the overall implementation of the QESH management system in the project.
- To take accountability for the effectiveness of the QESH management system in the project.
- To promote use of process approach and risk-based thinking in the project.
- To communicate the importance of effective QESH management system and conforming to the QESH management system requirements to the project team.
- To ensure that the QESH management system achieves its intended results.
- To promote customer focus and improvement in the project.
- To meet client and applicable legal and other requirements.
- To determine risks, opportunities and plan actions and ensure they are implemented.
- To ensure the integrity of QESH management system is maintained at all times even when changes are made.
- To fulfill the company’s contractual obligation to the clients.
- To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
What do we need from you?
Degree in Building / Architect / Civil Engineering / Project Management / Interior Designer related field.Minimum 5 years of working experience in a similar capacity.Good interpersonal and communication skills.Self-motivated person and able to work independently.Knowledge in project management, statutory and regulatory requirements.Knowledge in legal requirements and environmental, safety and health practices.Able to liaise with clients, consultants and authorities.Willing to work 6 days a week.Fluency in Mandarin is an added advantage because the clients prefer to communicate in Mandarin.Are yo ready to make that career shift & grow a great career portfolio with us?
