Media Supervisor

The Media Supervisor is responsible for total media planning and services on the accounts assigned. Supervises Media Planners, Buyers and Media Assistants assigned to those accounts. Job Responsibilities Clear understanding of client’s business objectives and advertising strategy. Knowledgeable and keeps up to date on all available market and consumer information necessary to the preparation of an effective and efficient media planning. Works closely with all assigned media personnel in the group with evaluation of media information necessary to the preparation of the media plan that best implements the media objectives and strategies. Writes the final media plans and recommendations to the client approved by Business Director. Determines and supervises the best possible implementation of all approved media plans and projects. Responsible for technical executions of campaigns / projects Prioritize tasks and appropriately delegate to individual members of the team, ensuring they are given adequate time, resources and are sufficiently trained to execute tasks like reporting : campaign launch, campaign end, monthly and weekly with high quality and consistency. Helps to train buyers and planners in proper methods of preparing, evaluating, and implementing media plans. Maintains such records and prepares such periodic reports as may be necessary. Maintains familiarity with the client’s industry and procedures of the client. Alert to new media or new methods of using existing media and new developments, such as coverage patterns, circulation of rate changes and updates team of such developments. Motivate and coach the team to bring new and exciting ideas to the planning function. Responsible for supporting leadership within the agency Any additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned by superior Job Requirements Minimum Diploma in Mass communication or any related field. Good communication and presentation skills. Careful and meticulous. A self-starter and a team player with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously. Able to work within timelines.
