Overview
Act as the right hand to the Director of Marketing Communications in leading integrated marketing initiatives for AFFIN’s Community Banking segment. Oversee campaigns across cards, auto financing, mortgage, deposits and other retail banking products, ensuring seamless execution across digital, creative, communications and event marketing. Manage internal stakeholders across business units and external agencies to bring AFFIN’s brand positioning to life, balancing strategic input with hands-on delivery.
Responsibilities
- Integrated Marketing Campaigns : Plan, develop and execute marketing campaigns for Community Banking products across ATL, BTL, digital and event channels. Ensure campaigns address real customer needs and uphold AFFIN’s positioning as Malaysia’s life-stage banking partner.
- Digital, Social & Creative Rollouts : Oversee campaign launches on digital and paid social platforms, ensuring messaging, creative and user journeys work cohesively. Direct creative development so visuals and copy reflect AFFIN’s brand voice and connect with target segments.
- Communications & Events : Manage communication rollouts from internal memos to press releases and sales kits, supporting product pushes and brand campaigns. Oversee event activations, roadshows and partnership engagements tied to community banking priorities.
- Stakeholder Management & Business Unit Support : Act as primary marketing partner for business units (cards, deposits, lending), understanding their goals and translating them into effective marketing initiatives. Manage approvals, feedback and ongoing alignment to ensure campaigns meet both marketing and business objectives.
- Right Hand to Director of Marcom : Translate strategic directions into actionable marketing plans, providing regular updates and proactive recommendations. Ensure marketing calendars, budgets and resources are well-coordinated.
- Agency Management & Reporting : Oversee creative, media, digital and event agencies, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery. Track campaign performance and prepare reports with insights to refine future initiatives.
- Vendor Management & Procurement : Manage creative, media, event and merchandise vendors, overseeing procurement processes, budgets and compliance with AFFIN standards.
Qualifications And Experience
Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business or related field.10+ years of experience in integrated marketing roles managing campaigns across digital, creative, events and brand communications.Exposure to financial services, insurance, telco or other regulated industries is an advantage, but not mandatory.Skills And Knowledge
Solid marketing generalist : skilled across campaign planning, digital & social marketing, creative oversight and event management.Strong stakeholder management skills, comfortable servicing multiple business units and balancing varied needs.Understands brand governance, regulatory guidelines, and the importance of marketing compliance.Seniority level
