Job Role :
- Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
- Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
- Negotiate best rate with shipping line companies / forwarding agents and issuance of Purchase Order.
- Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
- Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
- Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
- Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
- Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
- Oversee shipping activities and ensure all custom related matters are being executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with procurement team to solve operational problems and to bring in materials as per Purchase Order terms.
- Ensure all duty exemptions are kept in an orderly manner (i.e LMW, MITI, MIDA application etc).
- Apply in timely manner for those new import materials which are not listed in LMW list and ensure it has been approved prior shipment.
- Datelines for renew and quantities exemptions are to be reviewed from time to time.
- To liaise with custom to apply SIRIM / COA.
- Cooperate with project team regarding cost analysis / preferential certificate of origin application.
- Review LMW report for Malaysia customs (raw materials & finished goods) before submit.
- Ensure shipping procedures comply with national and international rules and regulations enforced in Malaysia.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior / management from time to time.
Main Duties and Responsibility in Summary :
