Logistic Manager

Job Role :

• Strategically plan and manage logistics, warehouse, transportation and customer services.
• Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle.
• Negotiate best rate with shipping line companies / forwarding agents and issuance of Purchase Order.
• Keep track of quality, quantity, stock levels, delivery times, transport costs and efficiency.
• Resolve any arising problems or complaints.
• Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets.
• Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements.
• Comply with laws, regulations and ISO requirements.
• Oversee shipping activities and ensure all custom related matters are being executed in a timely manner and in accordance with the company policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with procurement team to solve operational problems and to bring in materials as per Purchase Order terms.
• Ensure all duty exemptions are kept in an orderly manner (i.e LMW, MITI, MIDA application etc).
• Apply in timely manner for those new import materials which are not listed in LMW list and ensure it has been approved prior shipment.
• Datelines for renew and quantities exemptions are to be reviewed from time to time.
• To liaise with custom to apply SIRIM / COA.
• Cooperate with project team regarding cost analysis / preferential certificate of origin application.
• Review LMW report for Malaysia customs (raw materials & finished goods) before submit.
• Ensure shipping procedures comply with national and international rules and regulations enforced in Malaysia.
• To perform any other duties that may be assigned by your immediate superior / management from time to time.
