Job descriptionProvide strategic financial direction to support the companys business goals and regional expansion plans. Partner with the senior leadership team on financial planning, investment strategies, and business development. Play a key role in evaluating and executing cross-border expansion into Vietnam and Taiwan. Lead the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and long-term financial plans. Provide financial analysis and insights to drive decision-making and improve business performance. Monitor key financial KPIs and implement performance improvement initiatives. Oversee timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with MFRS and statutory requirements. Ensure compliance with tax regulations, corporate governance, and Bursa Malaysia listing requirements. Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, regulators, and financial institutions. Manage cash flow, banking relationships, credit facilities, and investment portfolios. Ensure effective capital allocation and funding strategies to support growth and expansion. Develop and enforce robust internal controls, risk mitigation strategies, and financial policies. Identify financial risks related to overseas operations and propose solutions. Lead and develop the finance team to ensure high performance and accountability. Foster a culture of integrity, transparency, and continuous improvement within the finance function. Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; Professional certification such as CPA / ACCA / MIA qualification is required. Minimum 10 years of progressive experience in finance leadership, preferably in a public-listed company or fast-growing regional business. Proven experience in international expansion or managing cross-border operations is highly preferred. Strong knowledge of MFRS, tax, treasury, and Bursa compliance. Excellent leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills. Strategic thinker with hands-on execution capability.

Job Summary
Our client is seeking a strategic and results-driven Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to lead the companys financial operations and support its growth strategy, including market expansion into other region. The CFO will oversee all aspects of financial planning, budgeting, compliance, reporting, treasury, and risk management, while serving as a key advisor to the Managing Director and Board. This role requires strong leadership, business acumen, and the ability to drive financial excellence in a fast-paced, evolving environment.
