Key Responsibilities
As a Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading our sales initiatives and driving revenue growth. Your main focus will be on material selling, strengthening relationships with customers, and opening doors to new markets.
Sales & Business Development
- Lead sales efforts to drive material selling to targeted industries.
- Develop, plan, and implement sales strategies to achieve sales targets and business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities through market research, cold calls, networking, and industry events.
- Expand customer portfolio by approaching new clients while maintaining strong relationships with existing accounts.
Customer Relationship Management
Build strong, long-term partnerships with customers through trust, consistent communication, and excellent service.Understand customer requirements and recommend solutions that meet technical and commercial needs.Act as the main point of contact for key accounts, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.Market Intelligence & Brand Building
Monitor competitor activities, industry trends, and raw material demand to capture market opportunities.Strengthen company branding by positioning our materials as trusted and preferred in the market.Represent the company in trade exhibitions, seminars, and networking events to enhance visibility.Collaboration & Reporting
Work closely with internal teams (purchasing, production, and logistics) to align sales activities with business goals.Provide accurate sales forecasts, reports, and updates on customer feedback to management.Participate in strategic planning meetings to align business direction with sales performance.Requirements
Diploma / Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Metallurgy, or related field.Minimum 3–5 years' experience in B2B sales, preferably in raw materials, metals, welding consumables, or industrial sectors.Strong track record in business development and achieving sales targets.Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills in English, Malay (Mandarin proficiency is an added advantage).Entrepreneurial mindset with strong business acumen.Proactive, self-driven, and capable of working independently.Willingness to travel locally and regionally to meet clients and attend industry events.Possess own transport.Ideal Candidate Profile
