Senior Test Engineer

Overview :

This position focuses on overseeing comprehensive test strategies, developing and mentoring junior testers, and collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams. Your contributions will directly impact project success, product excellence, and the overall growth of the testing practice within the organization

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of test strategies, plans, and test case designs to ensure thorough validation of software systems.
• Supervise all testing activities, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery in accordance with project schedules.
• Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting their technical proficiency and professional development within the team.
• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams—including developers, business analysts, and project managers—to ensure complete coverage of business requirements and system functionality.
• Act as a key coordinator during project initiation, gathering business needs, and facilitating communication between business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Drive continuous improvement in test processes, tools, and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Contribute to defect management, leveraging tools such as Jira, and ensure transparent reporting and resolution tracking.
• Support Agile development practices, actively participating in sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
