Job descriptionBachelor’s Degree in Information Systems or equivalent is required. Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in SAP Process Orchestration (PO), including SAP ABAP development proficiency for integration. Experience with SAP HANA-based development and Business Technology Platform is highly desirable. Familiarity with non-SAP integration platforms such as Boomi, Mulesoft, or Workato is a plus. Familiarity with modern integration architectures such as service-oriented architecture and event-driven architecture is highly desirable. Proven track record of participating in at least 3 end-to-end system implementation or rollout projects in an integration role. Up-to-date knowledge of SAP system trends and technologies. Prior experience in the insurance industry is advantageous.
Work as an internal SAP Development & Integration consultant, supporting enhancement and rollout projects.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and customize integration solutions to fulfill business requirements, using SAP PI / PO (ESR and ID), SAP ABAP (ABAP Proxies, OData API, Function Modules, SOAP Web Service), and / or BTP.
- Collaborate with the Project Manager or Delivery Lead to estimate effort and formulate project plans.
- Work closely with functional and business teams to understand requirements and convert them into technical specifications.
- Develop and fine-tune code (Java mapping, XSLT mapping, UDFs, ABAP) in accordance with coding standards and guidelines.
- Document technical designs and specifications.
- Participate in peer code reviews as part of the quality assurance process.
- Provide hyper-care support and transfer knowledge to the support team.
- Maintain the development and integration inventory list, along with other live documents, ensuring they are up-to-date.
- Assist in the RFP process or in the evaluation of vendors / products.
- Serve as the escalation point for daily support issues.
