We're transforming how the entire media ecosystem - publishers, journalists, and companies - work together. Alpha Story is a PR-tech startup backed by prominent individuals in the startup and media / marketing scene. Together with industry leaders from top PR firms, we've developed Alpha Echo, a platform which consolidates client brand analytics and campaign documents into one simple, easy to use interface for both clients and consultants to use. Our deep media partnerships have facilitated a simple marketplace for both earned and paid media, allowing us to guarantee our clients with media placements in specific publications of their choice.
On the back end, we're automating away all the repetitive and uninteresting admin work involved in traditional PR, and letting PR consultants do more of what they love best - writing stories and interacting with new clients. What we're looking for
Ex-strategy consultants (from 4-8 YOE) from top management consulting firmsNative proficiency in both written and spoken EnglishExpected to act as both Individual Contributor (80%) and Manager (20%)Fast learner - ability to grasp ambiguous problems based on user perspective, identify solution options, and execute based on prioritisationAdaptability - the marketing industry differs slightly from the world of management consulting. Your responsibilities will be broad. This is not a job where requirements are given to you fully-formed, and expect flexibility as you will be working closely with the founding team to build the operational processes of our 20+ man KL team.It won’t be easy. We’re not asking you to work weekends or think endlessly about work, but you will need to learn quickly, be creative, and be comfortable with changing requirements. There’s a lot of ambiguity in our problem space and processes that you will need to deal with.We experiment relentlessly till we get things right.
