Mechanical Engineer

Execute preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on SMT machines, reflow ovens, AOI / ICT equipment, test station and mechanical assembly lines.

• Troubleshoot equipment failures, analyze root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Ensure equipment calibration, alignment, and performance meet required specifications
• Provide technical support to production teams to minimize machine downtime.
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements to enhance reliability, yield, and efficiency.
• Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring equipment readiness.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead or support equipment upgrades, modifications, and automation projects.
• Implement energy-saving or cost-reduction initiatives in factory operations.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, breakdowns, and spare parts usage.
• Ensure compliance with ESD, safety, and environmental standards in all maintenance activities.
• Prepare technical reports, maintenance schedules, and work instructions.
• Coordinate with suppliers, contractors, and OEMs for technical support and spare parts management.
• Train operators and technicians on basic equipment care and preventive maintenance practices.
• Collaborate with process and quality engineers to sustain overall equipment effectiveness (OEE).
